ACCA COURSE DETAILS

Structure of ACCA comprises of two levels; Fundamentals and Professional.

The Fundamentals level consists of two modules; Knowledge and Skills.

Fundamentals (nine papers in total)

The ACCA syllabus consists of 13 papers divided into four levels:

  • Applied Knowledge – 3 papers
  • Applied Skills – 6 papers
  • Professional: Strategic professional – 2 papers

    ACCA Course Eligibility

    1. Eligibility for 10th

    10th Passed Students can pursue ACCA qualification via CAT/FIA route. Students have to pass 7 papers of FIA or 9 papers of CAT to transfer themselves into ACCA. They will be also exempted from F1, F2, F3. Requirement:

    • Minimum 60% marks in Math
    • Minimum 60% marks in English
    • Minimum 50% marks in other subjects
    2. Eligibility for +2

    12th or +2 passed students can pursue ACCA course if they fulfill Requirement:

    • Minimum 65% marks in Accounts or Math
    • Minimum 65% marks in English
    • Minimum 50% marks in other subjects

    STUDENTS WHO DONT MEET THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA If the students are having less marks for minimum entry requirement for ACCA, then the students can enter into ACCA by passing 3 papers of Diploma in Accounting and Business (FFA, FFB, and FFM ) of Foundation of Accounting of ACCA . After successful completion, a student will be eligible for exemptions of the following 3 papers:

    • F1 ACCOUNTANT IN BUSINESS
    • F2 MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING
    • F3 FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING
    • The estimated duration of the course will be 3 years including BSc. (Hons) Degree in Applied Accountancy from Oxford Brookes University and PER.

    3. For B.COM & Other Graduates

    B.COM / BSc. Accounting qualified graduates can enter into ACCA certification course with the exemption of 4 papers out of 13 papers. Please check your University at ACCA website for exemption claim purpose. The estimated duration of course will be 1.5 years for graduates

    • BBA graduates will get exemption of one paper( F1 )
    • LLB graduates will get exemption of one paper( F4 )

    Other Graduates can also enter into ACCA. For

    4. For MBA

    MBA graduates can enter into ACCA certification program with the exemption of 3 papers out of 13 papers.

    Following exempted papers are as follows
    • AB ACCOUNTANT IN BUSINESS
    • MA MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING
    • FA FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING
    In that case a student will have to appear for 10 papers of ACCA. These are as follows:
    • CL CORPORATE & BUSINESS LAW
    • PM PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
    • TX TAXATION
    • FR FINANCIAL REPORTING
    • AS AUDIT & ASSURANCE
    • FM FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

      PROFESSIONAL LEVEL

      • SBL – STRATERGIC BUSINESS LEADER
      • SBR – STRATERGIC BUSINESS REPORTING<.li>
      The other 2 >> A student has to choose two papers from the following four papers.
      • AFM – ADVANCED FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
      • APM – ADVANCED PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
      • ATX – ADVANCED TAXATION
      • AAA – ADVANCE AUDIT & ASSURANCE
      They can choose to take up this course as a full time or as a working student.
    • Full-time student can finish in 1.5 years
    • Working student may finish in 2.5 years
    5. For CA-IPCC

    CA – IPCC can enter into ACCA with the exemption of 6 papers out of total 13 papers. So, they have to sit for 7 papers only.

    The 6 exempted papers are as follows:
    • AB ACCOUNTANT IN BUSINESS
    • MA MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING
    • FA FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING
    • CLCORPORATE & BUSINESS LAW
    **Condition: -This paper can only be exempted if the student has qualified IPC with B.COM
  • TX TAXATION
  • AA AUDIT & ASSURANCE
  • The 7 papers they have to sit for as follows
    • PM PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
    • FR FINANCIAL REPORTING
    • FM FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
    PROFESSIONAL LEVEL
    • SBL – STRATERGIC BUSINESS LEADER
    • SBR – STRATERGIC BUSINESS REPORTING
    The other 2 >> A student has to choose two papers from the following four papers.
    • AFM – ADVANCED FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
    • APM – ADVANCED PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
    • ATX – ADVANCED TAXATION
    • AAA – ADVANCE AUDIT & ASSURANCE
    CA/IPCC can finish ACCA in one year as a full-time student.
    6. For CA/CMA Qualified

    After CA and CMA, Students can enter into ACCA with the exemption of 9 papers out of total 13 papers, which means they have to attend only 4 papers.

    9 Exempted papers are as follows:
    • ACCOUNTANT IN BUSINESS
    • MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING
    • FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING
    • CORPORATE & BUSINESS LAW
    • PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
    • TAXATION
    • FINANCIAL REPORTING
    • AUDIT & ASSURANCE
    • FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
    The 4 papers they have to sit for are as follows: PROFESSIONAL LEVEL
    • SBL – STRATERGIC BUSINESS LEADER
    • SBR – STRATERGIC BUSINESS REPORTING
    The other 2 >> A student has to choose two papers from the following four papers.
    • AFM – ADVANCED FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
    • APM – ADVANCED PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
    • ATX – ADVANCED TAXATION
    • AAA – ADVANCE AUDIT & ASSURANCE
    They can qualify ACCA within 6 to 9 months.
